Poem to my deceased grandfather

My Dear,

Your Spring is gone, now the winter,

How long and cold it has been for me.

You, this last week, is all I have been thinking about,

I loved you eternally.

Now the winter is gone, you will be happy now.

How much I will miss your sweet smile,

your being there for all of us.

Fullfillment in life is everything,

but some things you do not get to see.

Sad, sad it is yes,

it speaks to me.

I can see and hear you speak to me.

In my dreams, my surrounding abode,

This life you gave to this family.

Now, part of it is gone, peices of my heart and soul have been broken for you in remembrance.

I will never forget you.

Sleep my sweet prince, sleep.

Then awaken again, bring us with you,

be my angel of light.

the Protector of the Lord,

for He is with us.

Watch over us and guide us.

Carry me through this,

I can't handle anymore of the pain,

the heartache.

I know you can save us, your time was right, and ours was not.

The time has come, it is over, the pain is over.

There is a hell in the hearts of many,

some see it, but happy are they who don't.

So much time gone by, yet you cannot see or feel it.

It's a different uncanny time.

Many have seen this hell,

I am one of them.

I have lost so much, little have I gained.

Someday we will reunite with you,

but until then,

Sleep my sweet prince, sleep.
